While applying for a student visa or Permanent Residency, the applicant needs to meet the standard criteria in age, qualification, work experience, health, character, as well as the PTE score. The test is more relevant to applicants with an IT background. It is a recognized alternative to highly acclaimed English proficiency testing exams such as TOEFL and IELTS. From many years, PTE is also acceptable for programs related to the – graduates, skilled migrants, working visa, visitor visa and resident visa applicants.

Eligible PTE Score for Study Abroad:

It is a computer-based academic English language test aimed at non-native English speakers wanting to study abroad. The PTE tests reading, writing, listening and speaking proficiency.

 

How PTE Differs From IELTS?

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a standardized test jointly conducted by British Council, Cambridge English Language Assessment and IDP Education.

With not much difference, both the tests are equally significant worldwide. The international students choose between the two on the basis of scoring ability.
